Looks like we made it

Whew, we made it to Vegas!

Long story short, when we got to the airport in Chicago the plane was not there, apparently it was deadheading from somewhere to start it's run in Chicago. The plane was 45 minutes late because of Air Traffic Control/Weather issues, when we did board we made it to the tarmac before they called off all take off/landings because of lightening.

We sat on the runway for about 45 minutes, the problem was we only had a 60 minute layover in Denver, so we knew that we missed that one. But there was another flight at 9:25 that we thought we could catch, well we didn't.

We ended up getting stranded in Denver and because the FAA called "weather" the airline (UNITED AIRLINES) was under no obligation to put us up for the evening because we missed the last flight.

So we got a hotel close to the hotel and by the time we got there it was 11:00 local time, we were starved so called Pizza Slut - they were closed, as was Domino's Applebee's and Outback, we ended up going to bed hungry.

We got up early this morning (4:30 am) and headed back to the airport to grab a 7:00 am flight and we made it to Vegas.

It's BEAUTIFUL here, lots of people to look at, lots of things to oggle.

Just got back from the grocery store so we'd have some food and gonna go lay by the pool.

Oh and by the way, we're in the Penthouse Floor!

And we missed Andi, but she made her presence known that's for sure.
