I know I said that I would let others discuss the tragedy in New Orleans, but I wanted to share this link with you.
As you may know, Google now has a map service with satellite imagery.
Today they have posted satellite imagery of New Orleans after Katrina, here's a view of the Superdome

It's unbelievable that an ENTIRE city could be flooded in this day and age.
i can't believe the devestation its caused, natural disasters are so frequent these days, its really scary...
and you don't really think i need a rabies shot...do you...???
