One of the things I really enjoyed about Amsterdam was the variety of street musicians. All we have in Chicago are guys beating on plastic buckets, its loud and annoying - but it's all we have.
In Amsterdam I saw all kinds of musicans on the street including violinists, chello and a batty old lady playing the maracas in the Red Light District.
The most haunting thing though was this group of guys that were playing by Centraal Station one evening while we were walking to dinner. This music just sticks with me, I don't know why.
